Built on the shore of Lake Togo, this is one of Japan’s top Chinese gardens, symbolizing the friendship between Tottori Prefecture and China’s Hebei Province. Designed by Chinese engineers and constructed from building materials imported from the mainland, it is a genuine product of China’s imperial history, reviving the style of the gardens enjoyed by emperors of bygone days.

Enchoen is renowned for its displays of Chinese performing arts, with daily displays of traditional group acrobatics, jujitsu, and fire-ring-leaping, as well as a variety of other events.
