Yonago Gaina Festival
The name of this summer festival comes from the Yonago dialect word meaning ‘big’ or ‘grand’. The varied festivities include the Gaina Buddhist lantern festival, the Gaina Taiko performance, and the ‘mischievous Yosakoi’, as well as a spectacular fireworks display to finish off the event.
