Shikano Hot Springs

Located in a tranquil castle town surrounded by mountains, these hot springs are named after the famous samurai Yamanaka Shikanosuke of Japan’s medieval Sengoku period (1467-1600). The water of Shikano Hot Springs is known as “women’s water” for its calming effect on skin conditions. Stop by the Hot Pier Kano or Sanshien parking lot to enjoy a free hot spring for your feet after a long day of sightseeing.
