Tottori Nijisseiki Pear Museum

Located inside Kurayoshi Park Square, the Tottori Nijisseiki Pear Museum is the only museum in Japan showcasing the Asian pear. Replete with information on Asian pear history and agriculture, the museum also provides a host of experiences and discoveries through its exhibitions and displays. The museum’s symbol is a great pear tree with a branch span of 20 metres. With the world’s collection of pear-related material, one could spend a full day here. Enjoy some pear ice cream at the adjacent Nashikkokan.
