Isshiro Kawaguchi

Since he trained at a famous traditional Japanese restaurant, the owner is particular about using local ingredients and has a deep admiration for tableware. In addition to the tableware he has collected since his training days, the owner also has a lineup of tableware from the Iwai Kiln from his hometown of Iwami Town. The lunch set menu includes soba, tempura and maki-sushi. Warm kake-soba is served in special bowls from the Iwai Kiln, while the cold zaru-soba is served in a bamboo colander from Jinjin Bamboo Studio. There is also a wide range of sake containers and the owner, a certified sommelier, has personally selected sake and wine visitors can enjoy with authentic local cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere.
