The centerpiece of the Hokuei Mirai Folklore Hall is a permanent exhibition of ceramic works by Ikuta Kazutaka (a potter from Hokuei who was influenced by the folk art movement of Shoya Yoshida and continued to make ceramics in the Tamba region) and clay figures by Renbei Kato. The museum also exhibits a wide array of archaeological materials excavated from ancient tombs and ruins in Hokuei Town, including old documents, maps, paintings, ceramics and other works of art, farming tools and folk materials. The museum holds exhibitions related to the local area and the history of sand dune development.
