Mizuki Shigeru road leads from Sakaiminato Station to this commemorative centre. If any location is this artist’s centre of gravity, it is the Mizuki Shigeru Kinenkan, showcasing the collected works of the famous manga artist, scholar of mythical creatures, and adventure traveler. The man’s signature and signed illustrations, left behind every time he visits, are not to be missed. This area was also part of the filming location for the Korean TV drama Athena: Goddess of War.
